SEGi University & College

Founded in 1977 as Systematic College in Kuala Lumpur, SEGi has evolved into one of Malaysia’s largest private higher-education groups, now serving approximately 16,000–25,000 students across five major campuses in Kota Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, Subang Jaya, Penang, and Sarawak.

SEGi is now officially ranked in the QS World University Rankings (QS WUR) 2026, making its debut in the #731–740 band globally.

With an estimated over 50,000 public and private universities worldwide, SEGi’s QS World University Ranking position of #731–740 effectively places us among the top 1.5% of universities globally.

Out of over 50,000 institutions, this year there are only 8,467 world class universities that believed they were ready and choose to participate in this year’s QS evaluation, SEGi stood among them — and with our current ranking, we are proudly placed within the top 8% of all ranked universities.

For the past five years, SEGi has proudly held the QS 5 Stars Plus rating, one of the most prestigious honours awarded by QS. To date, only 24 universities in the world — including SEGi — have achieved both the QS World University Ranking and QS 5 Stars Plus distinction.
